Adecco is recruiting for a Part-Time Payroll / HR Administrator for a client in Watertown, NY. This position is a long-term temporary role, paying $24–30/hour, depending on experience.

Summary: This opportunity is with a well-established credit union and will primarily support their payroll team, while also assisting with HR-related tasks as needed. The role is expected to be long term and is ideal for someone with strong payroll support experience who enjoys a detail-oriented, administrative role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support related to payroll processing
  • Assist with payroll documentation, data entry, and reporting
  • Support timekeeping and payroll-related inquiries
  • Provide occasional HR administrative support as needed
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll information

Required Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of payroll or payroll support experience
  • Experience using Paychex is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications
  • Payroll experience within a banking or credit union environment, though experience in other industries will also be considered

Additional Details
  • Part-time schedule (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
  • Long-term temporary assignment
  • Pay dependent on experience


Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
